Local Artist's Donation Ensures That Creativity is Fed

Boulder Creek, Calif. (July 11, 2009) - Attaining Creativity (www.attainingcreativity.com) today announced the launch of an ongoing donation campaign to benefit local Second Harvest Food Banks in Santa Cruz and Santa Clara Counties. Donations will go towards programs such as Share Your Lunch and Food for Children food drives.

Ten percent of the proceeds from each art sale will be donated by Attaining Creativity to local Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Cruz County and the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara/San Mateo Counties. "Our ongoing donation to local Second Harvest Food Banks will help ensure that children have the necessary foundation for creativity," says Pia f. Walker, artist and owner of Attaining Creativity.

Attaining Creativity showcases contemporary pastel drawings that capture the beauty and simplicity of everyday human interaction. "Life is filled with beautiful, creative experiences, yet if a child's stomach is rumbling, creativity too is starved. That's why I am proud to be a supporter of the Second Harvest food efforts to ensure that children have access to quality food throughout the year," states Mrs. Walker.

Purchases of original artwork, prints, or greeting cards can be made online at www.attainingcreativity.com or in person at local art shows the artists attends. A show schedule can be viewed on the artist's website.
